OnePlus 9 5G Colours Revealed in Renders, Flat Display and Plastic Frame Confirmed

Tipster Ishan Agarwal has leaked the design of the upcoming smartphone. The design renders confirm some of the previously leaked specifications and features of the device.

The 9 will come in three colours – Stellar Black, Artic Sky, and Winter Mist. The phone will sport a glass back and comes with a flat display. As previously reported, the standard 9 model will come with a plastic frame. 

The phone will also have a flat 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. 

On the back, the standard 9 has a triple-camera setup. We can expect it to house the same sensors as the 9 Pro model. This would include a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensors and a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultrawide sensor. However, the third telephoto lens on the standard 9 is expected to come with a 2x optical zoom.  

The upcoming 9 series is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 4,500 mAh battery. The standard 9 will come with 65W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging, as per rumours. 

We can also expect the phone to come with an IP-rating for water and dust resistance.
