Among its key features is a display similar to that of the flagship OnePlus 12, which was launched in China in early December. OnePlus 12R Colour Variants, Display Specs Tipped
OnePlus 12R is said to sport a display similar to the OnePlus 12, as revealed previously by tipster DCS (Digital Chat Station) on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Recently, the tipster posted the specifications of the display expected on the OnePlus 12R in more detail.
The smartphone is said to come with a 6.78-inch BOE X1 8T LTPO curved display with a 1.5k resolution (2,780 x 1,264 pixels). The screen will have a global peak brightness of 1,600 nits, a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 2,160Hz, as per DCS.

The leak also suggests that the OnePlus 12R will sport a glass body design, while the middle frame will be metallic. The smartphone is said to be available in three colour options – pink, grey, and blue.
OnePlus 12R India Launch Date
OnePlus 12R is expected to launch in China on December 17, following which, it will be announced globally (including India) as OnePlus 12R on January 23, 2024, alongside the OnePlus 12. This means that OnePlus will not be opting for a simultaneous launch in the Chinese and other markets internationally as it did with the OnePlus Ace 2/OnePlus 11R.
OnePlus 12R Specifications (Expected)
OnePlus Ace 3 was previously spotted listed on benchmarking site Geekbench, which revealed the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It could come with 16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. Further OnePlus Ace 3 will run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box in China. The global variant (OnePlus 12R) could ship with Oxygen OS 14 based on Android 14.
The smartphone will be backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.
In comparison, the OnePlus 12 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It packs a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
As for camera specifications of the OnePlus Ace 3, a Camera FV 5 certification suggests the smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup where the primary sensor will be 50MP with support for f/1.8 aperture, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), 24.6mm focal length and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). The secondary sensor will be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and EIS, coupled with a third 32MP telephoto lens. The front camera could be 16MP with f/2.4 aperture and EIS.
