The company might also launch its foldable phone in India. While we wait for some more details, a new leak has revealed the design of the upcoming OnePlus foldable smartphone.

Tipster OnLeaks has uploaded the design renders of the OnePlus Fold in collaboration with SmartPrix. The design renders reveal that the OnePlus foldable phone will feature Hasselblad-tuned cameras. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Fold design renders, specifications and other details known so far.

OnePlus Fold: Design Renders Reveal Faux Leather Back and More

The OnePlus Fold might be a premium foldable smartphone and will likely take on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 once it launches globally. The leaked design renders of the foldable phone reveal that it has a faux leather back panel, which will likely offer a premium in-hand feel. We have not seen many foldable phones with vegan leather back. Therefore, the OnePlus Fold might look a bit refreshing even in the young foldable smartphone market. The device is also likely to feature glass or metal back variants.

The design renders show that the foldable phone has a circular camera module. There is the Hasselblad text at the centre of the camera module, further confirming the collaboration extending to OnePlus’ foldable phone. The triple-camera setup will likely feature a periscope lens as well, according to the leaked renders. At the top left corner of the rear panel is the LED flash module.

The frame is mostly flat at the top and bottom. We can see the alert slider on the left edge. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner on the right edge.

On the front, the OnePlus foldable phone has a large display with fairly slim bezels around it. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. On the inside, the foldable display has a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. Notably, the phone is said to feature a triple-speaker setup.

The report did not reveal the display size of the phone. It is tipped to sport a 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There will also be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. In addition to this, the OnePlus Fold is tipped to feature a 50MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). It is also likely to feature a 32MP front camera sensor. Under the hood, there might be a beefy 4800mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.

More details about the OnePlus foldable phone might surface on the web very soon. We will share the launch timeline and other details as and when available.
