OnePlus has been slowly expanding in more categories. The company forayed into the premium smart TV segment back in 2019, which was followed by the budget TV segment in 2020. Earlier this year, the company stepped into the fitness band category, followed by a smartwatch, which was launch last week. He also managed to obtain several key details of the OnePlus Plug-n-Play Webcam. Let us have a look at all the details, and the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus product.

OnePlus Webcam will have a Physical Camera Shutter!

OnePlus Plug-n-Play webcam will feature a Type-C port, and a mic. It will also have a physical camera shutter, so users won’t have to worry about their privacy. OnePlus plans to bundle this accessory with all their upcoming TVs, and it will also be compatible with existing TVs, with the exception of the 32-inch model.

A very similar implementation of this we have already seen with OPPO branded TVs in China. OnePlus is said to have finished the prototype phase of the product already. While the camera resolution of the upcoming OnePlus webcam isn’t known to us at the time of writing, we can expect it to be on par with the competition.

OnePlus Plug-n-Play Webcam is said to launch sometime in May. Though we don’t know if OnePlus will launch other products along with the Webcam, we can expect the company to announce new TV models. As of now, only this much is known to us about the upcoming OnePlus Plug-n-Play Webcam. As soon as we learn anything new about the upcoming OnePlus product, we will update our readers.
