OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord 2 5G handset back in July. The company has been rolling out software updates for the handset frequently. Now, in a new development, the Chinese smartphone giant has started rolling out a new update for the Nord 2 handset. The update comes with firmware version OxygenOS A.15 and brings the latest December 2021 Android security patch to the device. The company took it to OnePlus community forum to make an announcement for the same. Let us take a closer look at what the new update has in store for OnePlus Nord 2 users,

The latest update brings the December Android security patch to the OnePlus Nord 2. Apart from it, the update also brings improved stability for video recording with AI Video Enhancement enabled. The company has also fixed the bug that caused unclear calls via Bluetooth devices. It also brings improved system stability. Take a look at the official changelog below,

OnePlus Nord 2 5G OxygenOS A1.5 update is rolling out with firmware version DN2101_11.A.15 in India. Whereas, the update carries firmware version DN2103_11.A.15 in other regions including Europe. OnePlus has confirmed that the rollout is incremental, so it might take a while before the update hits your unit.

The Nord 2 5G features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the handset is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor that is built on a 6nm fabrication process, and comes coupled with an integrated Mali G77 GPU. It is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and 65W fast charging support.

The handset flaunts a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP mono sensor. For selfies, it offers a 32MP front shooter. The Nord 2 will be receiving Android 12 based OxygenOS 12. However, the company is yet to commence the Open Beta program for that.
