OnePlus recently announced the OxygenOS 14 Open beta 1 program for the OnePlus 11. The program was announced by OnePlus for users in India and North America region. As a part of the program, the company will recruit 5,000 users to test the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 Open beta on the OnePlus 11. Now, in a recent development, OnePlus has announced the OxygenOS 14 Closed beta program for the OnePlus Nord 2T as well. The company took its community form recently to confirm the announcement of the OxygenOS 14 Closed beta program for the OnePlus Nord 2T.
Android 14-Based OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta Program Begins For OnePlus Nord 2T
As per the details shared by OnePlus, the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 Closed beta program is available for users in India only. For this program, the company will invite 500 users. Additionally, the brand will offer some rewards to thank the users who participate in the CBT with excellent performances.
Before you apply for the closed beta testing program, remember that this program will sometimes require flashing builds that require a clean flash, which means that it will cause data loss. So before you flash any build, the company highly recommends that you take a backup of all your data. Additionally, as this is a closed beta program, the builds you receive on your device might not be considered as stable builds, and it may contain some bugs. The company further notes that some of the third-party applications are currently not compatible on Android 14.
As mentioned by OnePlus on its community forum, it has started accepting applications for the closed beta program for OnePlus Nord 2T from September 12 i.e. yesterday. You can follow the below steps if you wish to apply for the OxygenOS 14 closed beta program.

- In order to apply for Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 Closed beta program, make sure that your device is running the following detectable version: CPH2401_11.C.28 and CPH2401_11.C.29.
- Go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply
- The brand will review the application within 5 workdays after the application channel is closed. If your application is approved, you will receive the closed beta build in the 3 workdays that follow.
- After approval, users can go to Settings > About device > and tap on Download Now.
