OPPO is gearing up to launch two new smartphones called the OPPO F19 and the F19 Pro in India. So far we have witnessed numerous leaks and rumours about the smartphones. Now in the latest development, a report from 91mobiles citing industrial sources has claimed that the company is going to launch the OPPO F19 series in March. Recently, it was tipped to launch in February but the 91mobiles sources are claiming that the launch is going to be held in March 2021.
Further, the report suggested that OPPO will start teasing about the upcoming smartphone on its official social media handles and the launch is tipped to happen in early March. It was also reported that the OPPO F21 series is going to replace the F19 series, but it seems that the series is still under development and the company is planning to launch the smartphone at a bigger stage. The company is yet to make any remarks about the OPPO F19 and the F19 Pro but the report claims that the smartphones will come with 10x lossless zoom feature.
OPPO F17 Pro Specifications
OPPO F19 and F19 Pro are going to be the successors of the OPPO F17 series. To recall, the OPPO F17 Pro was launched with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera cutout design for making room for selfie camera setup. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P95 SoC, clubbed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The handset is fuelled by a massive 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support and runs Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 custom skin.
On the camera part, the OPPO F17 Pro features a quad-camera setup with the combination of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-lens, 2MP mono lens, and a 2MP depth sensor along with an LED flash. Upfront, it houses a 16Mp primary camera + 2MP depth sensor for selfies and video calls.
Currently, there are no specifications revealed about the upcoming OPPO F19 series, but we can expect that the smartphone will arrive with an upgraded specification than the predecessor. Let’s see when the company is planning to launch the smartphone in India.
