OPPO will introduce a new F-series smartphone – the OPPO F25 Pro 5G on February 29 in India. Ahead of the launch, the OPPO F25 Pro India launch micro-site has gone live on Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo Store showcasing the device’s design. The upcoming F-series smartphone will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with a centred punch hole notch.
The OPPO F25 Pro will sport a flat-edge design and will arrive in two colour options – Ocean Blue and Lava Red. The company has also confirmed a triple-rear camera setup, 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support and IP65 water and dust resistance for the upcoming F-series smartphone.
The OPPO F25 Pro will feature a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with 1/2-inch sensor size and an f/1.7 aperture. Accompanying it will be a 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor with ultra-wide-angle functionality, 112° field of view, and 16mm focal length. The handset will also feature a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will rely on a 32MP Sony IMX615 camera with 21mm focal length and an f/2.4 aperture.
OPPO claims that the F25 Pro will be the first smartphone in the segment to offer 4K video front and back. The handset will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and doubly reinforced Panda Glass. The upcoming F-series handset appears to have an in-display fingerprint sensor on the security front as the power button does not seem to have integrated fingerprint scanner.
The OPPO F25 Pro 5G will be available for purchase in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configuration options. It weighs 177 grams and is just 7.54mm thick. The company says that OPPO F25 Pro will set new high standard in sub 25,000 segment in the country, so we can expect it to be priced around Rs 25,000.
