OPPO is in the development of its upcoming foldable smartphone and will debut the OPPO Find N3 smartphone soon in China. OnePlus will rebrand the device for the global markets and will launch under the OnePlus Open moniker. The Chinese smartphone brand has already confirmed its debut and started dropping teasers of the OnePlus Open. OPPO launched its second-generation clamshell OPPO Find N3 Flip smartphone in China in August 2023.
OPPO debuted its first-generation clamshell smartphone, i.e., OPPO Find N2 Flip, in India and other global countries. However, OPPO has yet to debut its foldable smartphones in the international markets. The debut of OnePlus Open will help fans of OPPO outside China to buy a similar foldable smartphone. OPPO has started the preparations for the debut of the OPPO Find N3 Flip smartphone in the global markets, including India.
91Mobiles has obtained some images of the global variant of the Find N3 Flip smartphone. The photos shared by the publication reveal the cover screen of the upcoming clamshell smartphone. The image of the cover screen shows that OPPO has optimized the global apps, including Uber, X (formerly Twitter) and other apps to work with the cover screen.
The report reveals that the launch of OPPO’s second-generation clamshell smartphone is imminent in India. The image shared by the publication shows the smartphone in a silver colour variant, which hasn’t debuted in China. OPPO launched the smartphone in China in Moonlight Muse, Mist Rose and Mirror Night colour options.
We can expect OPPO to debut the smartphone in various colour options to take on the competition. OPPO’s upcoming smartphone will make sure that every global and Indian will work on the small cover screen, increasing its productivity. The report claims that the images accessed by them belong to an Indian unit of the upcoming device.
The publication also shares a separate list of apps that will be compatible with the cover screen of OPPO Find N3 Flip. The list includes popular Indian applications, including Zomato, Swiggy, mAadhar, Wink Music, BookMyShow, Jio Savnn and more. The list consists of popular global apps, including WhatsApp, Netflix, YouTube Music, Yahoo Mail and others. The smartphone is expected to compete against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Moto Razr 40 and more.
