Oppo K10 with MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC, 12GB RAM Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of April 24 Launch

Oppo will launch the K10 series soon in China. The company has dropped some new teasers that reveal the specs and features of the two K10-series smartphones launched in India. Oppo will launch the K10 and a Pro variant alongside on April 24. The Pro model will feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC and sport an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate support. 

The vanilla K10, meanwhile, has been listed on the Geekbench website. The listing confirms some key details about the device’s performance unit. Let’s take a look at the Oppo K10 specifications, features and other details leaked via Geekbench ahead of the launch.

Oppo K10 Geekbench

Oppo K10 launching in China on April 24 is different from the one available in India. The Chinese variant is listed on Geekbench with the model number PGJM10. According to the benchmark website, the device draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC. This would make the phone the first device worldwide to feature the new MediaTek chipset. It has a peak clock speed of 2.75GHz, which is slightly less compared to the 2.85GHz clock speed of the Dimensity 8100 SoC. Further, the device will come with a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU for graphics.


The variant listed on Geekbench has 12GB of RAM. We can expect Oppo to launch an 8GB RAM variant of the device as well. The device scored 920 and 3725 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

In addition to this, the listing confirms that the phone runs Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of ColorOS 12 on top of Android. Some other details of the device are available on the web as well. It will come with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD. The screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the screen for the 16MP front camera.

The device has a triple-camera setup on the back. It will feature a 64MP main camera along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. Under the hood, there will be a 5000 mAh battery. It will support 67W fast charging out of the box. The Oppo smartphone will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will launch in two colours – Blue and Black. The device will weigh about 205 grams and measure 164.3×75.8×8.7mm.
