Oppo PDHM00 (Possibly Ace 2) Full Specs Revealed on TENAA

The Chinese certification website, TENAA, has now updated the certification pages of the PDHM00 with almost all the specifications of the smartphone. According to the information on TENAA, the PDHM00 has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 8GB and 12GB RAM options, 128GB and 256GB storage options, an octa-core CPU with a clock speed of 2.8GHz, dual-SIM connectivity, and a 1955mAh battery (There are most probably two such batteries to enable 65W charging speeds, which means that the battery capacity of PDHM00 is 3910mAh). The listing also reveals that the device measures 160 x 75.4 x 8.6mm, weighs 185 grams and that it will be available in black, blue, and purple color variants.

Plus, it should be noted that popular leaksters in the industry are now calling Reno Ace 2 as just Ace 2. It looks like, the company has decided to remove the Reno moniker from the name. Although, there is still no official confirmation about it.

Update 1 (27/03/2020):

Oppo PDHM00 (Possibly Reno Ace 2) Images Live

In the original article, I had said that TENAA could add more details to the listing of the smartphone soon. And that is what has happened now. The certification website has updated the certification page of the Oppo PDHM00 (Possibly Reno Ace 2) with images of the smartphone. Here they are.

As you can see, the smartphone shown in these images looks exactly like the Reno Ace 2 that was leaked in an image a few days ago, which confirms our speculation that the PDHM00 is most probably the Reno Ace 2. Anyway, these images show that the PDHM00 has a display with a punch-hole mounted to the top-right corner of the screen, a quad-camera setup at the rear, power button to the right-hand side of the device and volume buttons to the left. Hopefully, TENAA will soon update the specs of the device as well.

On a similar note, Brian Shen, VP at Oppo, has put out a post on Weibo from the Oppo Reno Ace 2 5G smartphone that he has now started using the Reno Ace 2 5G mobile. And that the engineering team is working on squashing bugs related to touch response time and frames rate of the Reno Ace 2.

A couple of days ago, we had spotted an unannounced Oppo smartphone bearing the model number PDHM00 on the Chinese, 3C certification website. Back then, the information that was revealed through the listing of the device on 3C, we speculated that it could be a successor to the Reno Ace, which, according to the brand, will be called the Reno Ace 2. Now, we have spotted the same, Oppo PDHM00 smartphone on another Chinese certification website, TENAA.

Oppo PDHM00 (Possibly Reno Ace 2) Spotted on TENAA

As you can see in the TENAA listing image, the device has PDHM00 moniker in it, just like that we saw in the 3C certification. The listing on TENAA also shows that the device has SA/NSA 5G connectivity, which means that it can operate on Sub-6 and mmWave networks.

Usually, any smartphone listing on TENAA has information about the key specs of the device and also its images but that isn’t true for PDHM00 listing. Looks like not all certification documents haven’t been uploaded to the site yet. But when that happens, we will make sure that we are one of the first to bring you the news. Stay tuned till then.
