OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ Chipset and Reno 10 Series Display Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch

OPPO is working on its upcoming Reno series smartphones, which will debut on May 24 in China. The forthcoming OPPO Reno 10 series will consist of OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+. These smartphones have been listed on various certification websites before the launch. A recent leak revealed the live images of the upcoming smartphones, which show the design of the smartphones. OPPO has also been teasing some of its key features over the weeks. Previously, the company had confirmed that it would equip the upcoming Reno 10 series smartphones with an OLED panel with a punch-hole for the camera. OPPO now reveals the processor and display specifications of the forthcoming smartphones.

OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ Chipset Confirmed

The OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ would be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. OPPO had previously confirmed that the Reno 10 Pro+ smartphone would pack a 4700 mAh battery with 100W fast charging tech support.

Previous leaks suggest that OPPO will equip the Reno 10 Pro+ and Reno 10 Pro with a 6.7 inches OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. The Pro+ will feature a primary 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX 355 sensor, and a 64MP periscope zoom lens.

The OPPO Reno 10 Pro will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM. The device is expected to share a similar rear camera setup with the Pro+ except for a tertiary 32MP Sony IMX 709 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom support. It will be backed by a slightly smaller 4600mAh battery with 100W fast charging tech.

OPPO Reno 10 Series Display Specifications

OPPO has also confirmed that the upcoming Reno 10 series smartphones will be equipped ProXDR display. For those unaware of the ProXDR technology, OPPO had previously equipped with other flagship models, such as OPPO Find X6 Pro. The technology will help to increase the colour reproduction of the displayed picture in the smartphone.

The display will also support dynamic light and shadow screen tech, enhancing the brightness up to eight times. The company also confirms that the display will support a refresh rate of 120Hz and support 1.07 billion colours. The display will have a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

The company previously confirmed that the Reno 10 would bring a triple-rear camera setup with a telephoto sensor. The teaser shared by the brand revealed that the telephoto lens will have a 47mm focal length and will be equipped with a 64MP primary camera. The setup would consist of a primary 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX 355 ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 32MP Sony IMX 709 telephoto lens with support for 2x optical zoom.

The company is also expected to ship the smartphone with a 32MP front camera. OPPO will likely equip the device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will likely be backed by a 4700 mAh battery with 80W fast charging tech.
