OPPO Reno 11 Series India Launch Date Leaked
The tipster divulges through a new post on X (formerly Twitter) that OPPO will debut the Reno 11 series smartphones on January 11 in the Indian and global markets. Agarwal has also claimed that the vanilla Reno 11 will sport MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, which appears to be a downgrade from the Chinese variant that is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 SoC.
Meanwhile, OPPO Malaysia has started sharing teasers for the launch of the upcoming smartphones. The teasers reveal that OPPO will conduct an event on January 13 to announce the Color OS 14 globally.
The teasers also confirm that the pre-orders of the forthcoming Reno 11 series smartphones will start from January 11, hinting at the global debut date of the devices.
Coming to the Dimensity 1080 chipset, it is fabricated on a 6nm process and features two Cortex A78 cores at 2.6GHz, six Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz and a Mali G68 MP4 GPU. The vanilla smartphone scored 954 points in single-core and 2422 points in multi-core tests on GeekBench. The listing also confirms that the chipset will pair with up to 8GB of RAM.
The forthcoming device will run on Color OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. Ishan Agarwal also reveals that OPPO will debut the vanilla smartphone with a slightly different camera bump. The device will sport 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging support.
The Reno 11 Pro smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC or MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. OPPO will debut the smartphone with the same 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. Ishan also confirms that both smartphones will sport a 32MP telephoto sensor. The tipster has also shared the renders of the global variants of the upcoming Reno 11 series smartphones. To recall, OPPO equips smartphones with 6.7-inch and 6.74-inch OLED curved screens.
The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The vanilla Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro smartphones have a peak brightness of 950 and 1600 nits respectively. The Pro model also features support for Pro XDR display. The vanilla device sports a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP Sony IMX 355 ultrawide sensor and a 32MP Sony IMX 709 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
The Pro variant features a 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor with OIS and a sensor size of 1/1.56-inch. The sensor is paired with similar 8MP ultrawide and 32MP telephoto lenses. Both smartphones also sport a 32MP Sony IMX 709 selfie camera. The smartphones are backed by 4700mAh and 4800mAh batteries, respectively.
