POCO C61 Moniker Confirmed by Bluetooth SIG and BIS; Tipped to Arrive Soon

POCO is expected to announce the launch of the POCO C61 smartphone soon in Indian and global markets. Today, we have spotted the upcoming smartphone in the Bluetooth SIG listing and BIS certifications. The BIS certification confirms that the launch of the smartphone is nearing in India.

POCO C61 Bluetooth SIG and BIS Certifications

The Bluetooth SIG listing obtained by the smartphone reveals the 2312BPC51H model number. The POCO C61 moniker of the smartphone is also confirmed through the Bluetooth SIG listing. The certification suggests that POCO will debut the smartphone as a rebranded Redmi A3 smartphone, which was launched in India recently.

As per the Bluetooth SIG listing, the POCO C61 will support Bluetooth 5.4 protocol and run Android 14 out of the box. The certification doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the forthcoming POCO device. The 2312BPC51H model number of the device is also confirmed through the BIS certification.

Redmi A3: Features, Specifications

To recall, Xiaomi’s Redmi A3 smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device features a traditional waterdrop-style notch to house the selfie camera and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Redmi A3 features an 8MP primary camera paired with an AI lens and LED flash. The waterdrop notch houses the 5MP selfie camera. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging tech. It also has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.
