POCO C61 Launching in India Next Week; Flipkart Microsite Goes Live

POCO India will launch a new C-series smartphone – the POCO C61 on March 26 in the Indian market. The POCO C61 will arrive as a successor to last year’s POCO C51 and will be aimed at budget smartphone buyers. The company took it to social media channels to announce the same.

POCO C61: Confirmed Specifications

Similar to other POCO handsets, the upcoming POCO C61 will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in the country. The POCO C61 launch microsite has also gone live on Flipkart, which showcases the device in a black colour option. The launch micro-site also reveals some of the key specifications of the upcoming handset.

The POCO C61 will feature a radiant ring design which includes a circular camera module. The upcoming C-series handset will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display, which will be an upgrade over its predecessor which offers a 60Hz display. POCO has also confirmed that the POCO C61 will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit.

The POCO C61’s microsite teasers also confirm that it will offer a dual-rear camera setup, which will be supported by an LED flash. The smartphone will feature up to 6GB of RAM and up to 6GB of virtual RAM, so users can take advantage of up to 12GB of memory on the device.

The POCO C61 has already been spotted on Google Play Console, Bluetooth SIG, and the Bureau of Indian Standard certification websites. As per the Google Play Console database listing, the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor and 4GB of RAM. As per the certification listing, the upcoming POCO C61 will be a rebranded Redmi A3, which was launched last month in the country.
