POCO C61 Appears on Google Play Supported Devices List, Hinting at Rebranded Redmi A3

POCO is gearing up for the launch of a new C-series smartphone dubbed the POCO C61 in global markets. Today, we have spotted the upcoming smartphone in the Google Play Supported Devices list.

The Google Play Supported Devices list confirms that the forthcoming POCO smartphone will bear the 2312BPC51H model number. The listing reveals the moniker of the smartphone, which was earlier revealed through the Bluetooth SIG listing.

Our team at MySmartPrice also spotted the upcoming POCO smartphone in the BIS certification, hinting that the launch is nearing in India. The Bluetooth SIG listing secured by the smartphone earlier confirmed that POCO will rebrand the Redmi A3 smartphone under the POCO C61 moniker.

The Play Supported Devices list also adds that the upcoming smartphone is a rebrand of the Redmi A3 which debuted with the 23129RN51H model number. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the recently launched Redmi A3 smartphone.

Redmi A3: Features, Specifications

Xiaomi equips the Redmi A3 with a 6.71-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1650×720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel also has support for a 180Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. The chipset is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Xiaomi smartphone comes with a regular SIM card slot and a dedicated microSD slot.

The device features support for expansion up to 1TB of storage. The Redmi A3 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. The smartphone sports an 8MP AI dual rear camera setup and a 5MP selfie camera.
