POCO F5 Clears NBTC, NCC Certification Ahead of Launch
The NBTC certification confirms the moniker as the POCO F5. Additionally, it reveals the model number of the device as 23049PCD8G. Furthermore, the device has also gained the NCC certification. The NCC listing reveals that the phone will have a triple-camera setup. Furthermore, the certification also reveals that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery. Apart from the battery capacity, and triple-camera setup details, no other specifications of the phone are disclosed at the moment. As mentioned above, the device also has received the BIS certification. The BIS certification has listed the device with the model number as 23049PCD8I.
As mentioned above, the POCO F5 is rumored to launch in the global market as a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The handset is supposed to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood could be Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. As per the recent information shared by tipster Paras Guglani, the device will launch in 8GB/12GB RAM configuration along with 256GB storage. Furthermore, the device is said to come in Blue, Black, and White colour options.
In terms of optics department, the phone is said to feature a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. As confirmed by the NC certification, the device will draw a power from a 5,000mAh battery. The handset could offer 67W fast charging support. As of now, the launch date of the POCO F5 for the Indian market is yet to be revealed. Previously, it was said that POCO will launch the POCO F5 in India on April 6th. However, the launch of the device didn’t take place.
Now, that the phone has cleared several certifications, we can expect to launch in the coming few weeks. As the days pass, we shall have details from POCO regarding the POCO F5 India launch date.
