  • It will most likely be launched alongside the POCO F6 Pro, which has also appeared on certification sites.

POCO is expected to unveil the POCO F6 series, consisting of the POCO F6 and the POCO F6 Pro in the coming months. While the company is yet to reveal the POCO F6 series and its launch date, folks at GSMChina have spotted the upcoming POCO F6 on the IMEI database.

The POCO F6 made an appearance on the IMEI database with the model numbers 24069PC21I and 24069PC21G, which represent Indian and Global variants, respectively. Alongside, GSMChina also spotted the Redmi Note 13 Turbo with model number 24069RA21C on the IMEI database.

The POCO F6 and Redmi Note 13 Turbo’s model numbers are similar, which suggests that the POCO F6 and Redmi Note 13 Turbo would feature similar hardware. Though, POCO might tweak a few things on the POCO F6 compared to the Note 13 Turbo.

Last year’s POCO F5 was a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. Folks at GSMChina also claim that the POCO F6 will feature the Qualcomm SM8635 SoC, which Qualcomm is yet to announce.

Qualcomm is expected to announce this chipset on March 18 in China. Qualcomm SM8635 might be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is tipped to power several flagship killer segment devices such as iQOO Z9 (Chinese variant), Realme GT 6 Neo series, and more.

It is speculated that the POCO F6 will go official sometime in April. The POCO F6 is tipped to have the codename Peridot, which has been obtained through HyperOS code. We can expect the Redmi Note 13 Turbo to go official before the POCO F6.
