POCO F6 Certified by BIS, Hinting at Imminent Launch in India

POCO is gearing up to launch the POCO F6 series smartphones in global markets, including India. 91Mobiles has spotted the upcoming POCO F6 in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification.

The BIS certification reveals that POCO will debut the smartphone with the 24069PC21I model number. The Indian variant with the 24069PC21I model number was recently spotted in the IMEI database alongside the global variant with the 24069PC21G model number. A previous report suggests that POCO could launch the smartphone in India in May or June.

POCO F6 Expected Specifications

The upcoming POCO smartphone will be a rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 3, which is expected to launch in China in April. The 3C certification secured by the Redmi Turbo 3 confirms support for 90W wired charging tech for the POCO smartphone.

The device was recently spotted the smartphone in the Geekbench database with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The device scored 1932 points in single-core tests and 4928 points in multi-core tests. The leaks suggest the device could sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming POCO smartphone was also spotted in the Mi Code, which reveals that it will sport a 50MP Sony IMX 882 primary camera and an 8MP Sony IMX 355 ultrawide camera. POCO will also equip the smartphone with a 20MP OmniVision OV20B40 selfie camera.

In related news, the publication also spotted the POCO F6 Pro smartphone in the TDRA certification. The certification confirms that the launch of the F6 Pro should take place soon in global markets.
