Poco M4 5G Specifications

Poco M4 5G is expected to be a new smartphone that could be priced at around Rs 12,000 in India following its launch. The device’s launch date remains unknown at the moment. While we wait for that, tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the key specs of the phone. As per the tipster’s leak, the phone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC for 5G network support.

The device will sport a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution. It will come with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. On the back, the phone will sport a dual-camera setup. It will come with a 50MP main camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro camera sensor. There is no ultrawide camera on the M4 5G.

For selfies and video calls, there will be a 5MP front camera sensor. The phone will come with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM along with 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage. There will be a 5000 mAh battery as well. It will support 18W fast charging out of the box.

The smartphone is said to run Android 12 out of the box. There will be a layer of MIUI 13 for Poco on top of Android.

Based on the leaked specs, it is safe to say the phone is a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11E, which was launched earlier this year in Japan. This means that the phone will sport a water-drop notch and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As expected from a budget smartphone, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a plastic build. We will share more details about the launch once available.
