POCO India has announced the launch date of the POCO M6 5G smartphone through a poster in X (formerly Twitter). The forthcoming M6 5G will be the second device in the POCO M6 series smartphones. POCO previously launched the POCO M6 Pro 5G smartphone on September 2023 in India. The upcoming M6 5G will be a successor to the POCO M4 5G smartphone launched in April 2022.

POCO M6 5G Launch Date and Design
POCO India confirms that it will debut the upcoming POCO M6 5G smartphone on December 22 in India. POCO teases the launch of the upcoming device with the caption “The Real 5G Disrupter,” hinting at the affordability of the device. The company is likely to debut the smartphone through a recorded event, which will be streamed through the brand’s social handles starting at noon.
POCO also confirms that the upcoming device will be exclusive to Flipkart. The teaser also divulges that POCO will debut the smartphone in purple shade colour. The device will sport a water-drop notch to house the selfie camera. The left side of the device is clean except for the SIM card tray. The power button and volume rockers can be seen on the right side of the device.
POCO will equip the smartphone with dual rear cameras paired with an LED flash. The device features a large rectangular camera layout similar to other POCO smartphones with the same prominent POCO branding. The camera island also confirms that POCO will equip the forthcoming device with a 50MP primary camera with support for AI.
POCO M6 5G Expected Specifications
Kacper, a reliable tipster, previously revealed that the Xiaomi-owned brand will soon debut the M6 5G smartphone in India. The tipster indicated that the upcoming smartphone is likely to be a rebranded Redmi 13C 5G smartphone.
