POCO X3 is an upcoming smartphone from POCO Global that the brand has been teasing for a while now. The smartphone is all set to make its global debut on 7th September. A couple of days back, the company confirmed that the POCO X3 will be the world’s first smartphone to feature the recently unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC. Now, more details of the upcoming POCO X3 have been confirmed officially as it was listed on AliExpress this evening.
POCO X3 will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display
A couple of weeks ago, the company had confirmed that the smartphone will feature a higher refresh rate display and since then have been speculations that the upcoming POCO X3 will feature a 120Hz display with 240Hz sampling rate. Now, a couple of teasers on the AliExpress product page are also hinting towards the 120Hz display. The display on the POCO X3 will likely be a 6.67-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution as it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the power button.
AliExpress listing has once again confirmed the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G but it has additionally revealed that the smartphone will be available in 64GB storage variant, which should be UFS 2.1 storage. Previously Geekbench listing had revealed a 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone which might be the lowest memory variant of POCO X3.
5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging
Further, AliExpress listing confirms a 5160mAh battery on the device with 33W charging support along with a 64MP primary camera. The teasers shared by POCO Global General Manager, Angus have already confirmed a quad-rear camera setup, but as of now, we are not aware of the specifications and functions of other lenses, though we might see an ultra-wide-angle lens along with a macro and a depth sensor on the POCO X3.
POCO X3 might feature liquid cooling similar to the POCO X2 Indian variant, as hinted on the AliExpress product page. The company has also dropped a hint towards the pricing of the POCO X3, and going by the hint, the pricing will be under €300.
