Xiaomiui, a publication known for spotting various Xiaomi devices in the MIUI network, has revealed the launch timeline of the upcoming POCO X6 Pro 5G smartphone. Our team at MySmartPrice had recently spotted the X6 Pro 5G smartphone in the FCC certification. The FCC listing of the smartphone revealed the RAM, storage and model number of the device. The NBTC certification of the device revealed that the device is likely to be a rebrand of the Redmi K70E smartphone.

POCO X6 Pro 5G Launch Timeline

The report from Xiaomiui divulges that POCO will debut the forthcoming POCO X6 Pro 5G smartphone in late January in the global markets. The report also echoes that POCO will also launch the X6 Pro 5G smartphone in India. Xiaomiui has spotted the upcoming smartphone in the internal test servers.

The report reveals that the forthcoming devices run on HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box. The FCC certification of the device divulges that the device will be available in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants.

The listing also confirms the support for 67W wired fast charging and 5G connectivity. The global and Indian units of the X6 Pro 5G have the model numbers 2311DRK48G and 2311DRK48I. To recall, the recently launched Redmi K70E smartphone has the model number 2311DRK48C.

The C, G, and I letters in the model numbers stand for the Chinese, global, and Indian units of the smartphone. POCO is also likely to debut the smartphone in India in January.

The Redmi K70E is the first smartphone to sport MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. Xiaomi is likely to tone down the 90W wired charging support found in the K70e smartphone for the global markets to 67W fast charging, as revealed by the FCC.

Meanwhile, POCO has announced the launch of POCO M6 5G on December 22 in India, which is expected to be the last launch for the year 2023 from the brand.
