The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is expected to launch soon in some global markets. Eventually, the device is also expected to launch in India as the successor to the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. In the past, we have spotted the Edge 30 Fusion on multiple certifications. Recently, it was spotted on the FCC certification website revealing details about battery capacity, fast charging, connectivity details, and more.
Now, a new variant of the same phone has been spotted on the TENAA website. Based on the model number, the newly spotted variant of the Edge 30 Fusion could be launched as Motorola S30 Pro in China. The XT2243-1 model number belongs to the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion device and we have spotted the same on multiple platforms. The newly spotted XT2243-2 model number is likely the Chinese model and this is expected to launch as Motorola S30 Pro in China. While there is no official confirmation yet, the S30 Pro could launch in China along with Moto X30 Pro and Razr 2022 on August 2nd.
Motorola S30 Pro/ Edge 30 Fusion Expected Specifications
Based on the TENAA listings, the Edge 30 Fusion/S30 Pro device will come in a bunch of colour options including Black, Gold, Blue, White, Cyan, Red, Silver, and Gray. It will be interesting to see how many of these options will eventually make it to the global as well as Indian market. The upcoming Motorola device will measure 158.4×71.9×7.6 mm and weigh 170 grams
To the front, the Edge 30 Fusion/S30 Pro will come with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The phone is said to come with 8GB, 12GB, 16GB RAM options and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB storage options. Powering the device will be a 4270mAh battery and leaks suggests, that the phone will come with 68.2W fast charging support. As for the processor, the TENAA listing suggests the device will come with an octa-core SoC with a 2.995 GHz clock speed. A tipster on Weibo (Panda) says this could come with Snapdragon 8+ SoC. It could be either Snapdragon 888+ or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
As for the cameras, the listing has mentioned that both the primary and selfir cameras will have an 8MP+ resolution. Other features include under-screen fingerprint recognition, support for 5G, Bluetooth, and more.
