Thailavar Rajnikanth is now coming on your screens. Fan of the superstar has another reason to celebrate after the stupendous collections of Rajnikanth’s latest movie Jailer at the box office. Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, was poised to launch on OTT on September 7 after shattering box office records, as per the announcement made by Prime Video on Saturday. Nelson Dilipkumar’s criminal thriller film has begun streaming on the service starting today.
September 7 will be a day when a clash of titans will happen. Fans will have to choose between two superstars. Shahrukh Khan’s Jawaan is also releasing on the same day and it will also be released in Tamil and Telugu. The movie, which is directed by Atlee, is expected to have a huge opening, as seen by the advance bookings made for its opening day.

Rajnikanth’s latest blockbuster Jailer is coming on your screen through Prime Video. Prime Video announced that it will be releasing the movie on its platform from September 7 and viewers will need to subscribe or upgrade their subscription to watch the movie. Tiger Muthuvel Pandiyan, a former jailer who embarks on a manhunt to track down his son’s killers, is the main character of the movie. According to the official summary, Muthuvel’s resolve is tested as he makes his way through the shadows of his son’s world, taking him down a challenging and well-worn route.
The movie, which Kalanithi Maran produced under his Sun Pictures productions, was written by Nelson Dilipkumar, who is also the director of the movie. Apart from Rajnikanth, playing significant roles are Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirna Menon, Tamannah, Vasanth Ravi, Naga Babu, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, Kishore, Billy Muralee, Sugunthan, Karate Karthi, Mithun, Arshad, Marimuthu, Rithvik, Saravanan, Aranthaangi Nisha, Mahanadi Shankar and others. Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff make guest appearances in the movie as well. Anirudh has given the music for the movie.

Its trailer was released a month ago and has been viewed by 29 million people, which is more than the 24 million subscribers of the Sun Pictures YouTube Channel.IMDb has given the movie a ranking of 7.5/10.
