Realme India Preparing to Launch the Realme 12+ 5G; Drops a Teaser

Realme has shared a teaser hinting that the launch of the Realme 12+ 5G smartphone is nearing in India. The micro-site of the upcoming mid-range smartphone is live on Realme India’s website.

Realme 12+ 5G India Launch Details

The micro-site confirms that the “One More Plus” smartphone is coming soon to India under the Realme 12 series smartphones. Realme suggests that the forthcoming device will be an ultimate value mid-ranger in the number-series series. While the name is still not known, we expect it to be the Realme 12+ 5G.

The smartphone is said to offer over 12 upgrades. The teaser confirms a leatherette finish for the back panel. The brand claims that the upcoming smartphone will boast a luxury design in the segment. The teaser of the leather variant reaffirms the design revealed through the MIIT certification.

Earlier today, the brand confirmed the global debut of the smartphone on February 29 in Malaysia.

Realme 12+ 5G: Expected Specifications

The teasers dropped by Realme Malaysia confirm that the device will sport a flat-edge design and a circular camera island. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore reveals that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. Realme will equip the smartphone with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The device is said to feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with support for OIS. This will most likely be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The smartphone is likely to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The fast charging speeds were earlier confirmed through the FCC database.
