Realme will soon add a new device in the Realme GT 2 series. The company is all set to launch the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition in China next month. The current GT 2 series consists of two devices 一 Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro, both of which are available in China as well as global nations, including India.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is now confirmed to launch in the month of July in China. The device has been in the news for a few weeks now and the phone was spotted on TENAA, Geekbench, and more. Here is what to expect from the upcoming GT 2 Master Explorer Edition device from Realme.

Realme’s spokesperson, Xu Qi Chase has confirmed on Weibo that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition smartphone will be launched in the month of July. The focus here will be on the design of the device as the teaser suggests it will be a “texture flagship of the year”. This will be a top-of-the-line flagship smartphone and successor to the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition, which was not launched in India.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition: Specifications

Based on the previous leaks and certification spotting, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device will feature a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics, the device will come with a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor. It might include a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. It is likely to feature a 16MP selfie camera.

The phone is expected to pack in a 4,960mAh. battery unit backed by a 100W fast charging. The phone is expected to come with 8GB or 12GB of RAM along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The handset is said to come pre-loaded with Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12. The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition, as per the certification listing, weighs 199grams and measures 161.3 × 74.3 × 8.2mm. As for the design, we can expect the phone to flaunt the paper-like design as we have seen on the Realme GT 2 series devices.
