Possible Realme GT Master Edition With Snapdragon 870 SoC Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of Launch

Realme is prepping up for the launch of a new smartphone in the GT lineup dubbed as the Realme GT Master Edition. The device is subject to numerous leaks from the past few days. Just yesterday, we saw the renders and specifications of the Realme GT Master Edition. The renders reveleaed the phone’s design ahead of launch. Along with the renders, few key specifications of the handset were even disclosed. Now, in a recent development, the Realme GT Master Edition (Realme RMX3366) has appeared on Geekbench. The benchmark listing exposes the hardware specifications of the handset ahead of launch. Let’s check details revealed by Geekbench ahead:

Realme GT Master Edition Spotted On Geekbench

The Realme smartphone which is spotted on the Geekbench benchmark platform carries model number as Realme RMX3366. Several rumours in the past had revealed that this handset will launch as the Realme GT Master Edition, and not the Realme X9. The device had gained the required TENAA certification in China last month. If we go through the phone’s specifications revealed by the Geekbench, we can see that the Realme GT Master Edition will come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. The smartphone will pack 12GB of RAM. On the software side of things the handset will run Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0 skin.

As far as the other specifications of the handset go, the Realme GT Master Edition is tipped to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is supposed to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The report published yesterday had revealed that this new offering by Realme will ship with Snapdragon 778 5G chipset. However, the details about the chipset revealed by the current Geekbench listing does contradict to information disclosed by 91Mobiles yesterday. The phone as mentioned above is spotted at Geekbench with Snapdragon 870 SoC. Renowned tipster Arsenal on Weibo also had earlier confirmed that this device will launch with Snapdragon 870 chipset.

Moving ahead with the rest of the specifications of the phone, the device is said to feature a triple-camera setup. The Realme GT Master Edition might sport a 64MP primary main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone is said to pack a 4300mAh battery which might offer 65W SuperDart fast charging support. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the handset might feature a 32MP camera. As far as the pricing of the device goes, the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is said to cost around EUR 399 (approx. Rs 35,200). The top-end model with 12GB + 256GB storage might retail for EUR 449 (approx. Rs 39,600).

As of now, Realme is yet to officially reveal the launch date of the Realme GT Master Edition. Now that the device has started appearing on the benchmark platform and has already gained the TENAA certification, we can expect the phone’s launch to take place in the upcoming few weeks.
