Realme has launched a new tablet in the Philippines. The company has announced the Realme Pad mini as an affordable tablet for the masses. The new Android tablet comes months after the launch of the Realme Pad, which was launched last year in India and other markets. The new mini version of the Realme tablet is expected to arrive soon in India.

Realme has not confirmed its plans to unveil the tablet in India. However, considering how the company is expanding its product offerings across different price points, we can expect the Pad mini to launch in India very soon. Realme Pad Mini Price

The Realme Pad mini has been launched in the Philippines in two storage options. The base model has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The tablet is priced at PH9990 (roughly Rs 14,700). It also arrives in a 4GB RAM option with 64GB of internal storage, which is priced at PH 11990 (roughly Rs 17,600).

Realme’s new tablet arrives in Silver and Blue colours. It is expected to launch soon in India.

Realme Pad Mini Specifications and Features

The new Android tablet from Realme sports an 8.7-inch LCD panel with fairly thick bezels around it. The display has an HD resolution of 1340×800 pixels. Despite the thick bezels, the tablet has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.59 per cent.

There is a 6400 mAh battery packed inside the tablet. It supports 18W fast charging out of the box. Being a budget tablet, it has a plastic build, which has resulted in a total weight of about 372 grams. The tablet is also quite thin at 7.6mm.

The top storage option has 64GB of internal storage. Those who wish for more storage can use a microSD card to expand the memory up to 1TB. The tablet draws power from a Unisoc T616 SoC. It has a peak clock speed of 2.0GHz.

For scanning documents, the rear panel houses an 8MP camera. There is no LED flash module. For video calls, the tablet has a 5MP front camera. In terms of software, Realme’s new tablet runs Android 11 out of the box. It has a layer of Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android. The tablet also comes with dual speakers and supports Bluetooth 5.0.
