OPPO spinoff Realme may soon launch its first 2019 Android smartphones in India. According to a new tip that we have received, the company will launch at least two new smartphones in the country before the end of the first quarter.
‘RMX1825’ to Debut Alongside the Realme 3 in India
One of the two smartphones that will be launched in India soon will be the Realme 3. The smartphone was recently certified by Singapore’s IMDA certification agency with the model number RMX1821. Apart from the Realme 3, the company will launch another new Android smartphone with the model number RMX1825. Unfortunately, however, there is no information available regarding the marketing name or hardware specifications of the RMX1825 currently. While we are completely sure, there is a possibility of RMX1825 being the Realme A1. The Realme A1 is expected to be slotted between the Realme U1 and Realme 2 in the company’s lineup.
The hardware specifications of the Realme 3 too remain a mystery at this point. We can expect the smartphone to sport a Dewdrop notch display with a slightly tweaked design compared to the smartphones Realme launched last year. One of the key strengths of Realme smartphones is their attractive design, so we certainly have high hopes from Realme 3. We can also be sure that the handset will not have a 48MP rear camera, as clarified by CEO Madhav Sheth recently.
Last month, Realme introduced a new storage variant of its entry-level C1 smartphone. Apart from higher storage, however, the “new” Realme C1 (2019) is identical to the original C1. The Realme C1 (2019) with 32GB of internal storage and 3GB RAM is priced at INR 8,499 in India. It sports a 6.2-inch 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution notched display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The entry-level smartphone runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor with an Adreno 506 GPU handling the graphics processing. Realme’s entry-level offering also packs a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back and a 5MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture on the front. The smartphone’s main selling point, however, is its large 4230mAh capacity non-removable battery.
