Realme recently launched Realme Narzo 60X smartphone and Realme Buds T300 TWS in India. The Narzo 60X smartphone is a rebranded version of the Realme 11X 5G smartphone exclusively sold through Amazon India. Now, Realme has started teasing the launch of another smartphone in the Realme 11 5G series.
The Chinese OEM launched the vanilla number series smartphones in the last week of August 2023. The series includes the vanilla 11 5G and Realme 11X 5G smartphones. These smartphones are sold through Flipkart and other retail stores. The latest teaser from Realme confirms the launch of the upcoming smartphone in its number series.
Realme captions the upcoming smartphone launch as “Unlock the Next Level of Innovation” with the “Double Ace, Double Leap” hashtag. Realme confirms that the upcoming number series smartphone will feature 5G connectivity. The phonemaker is yet to reveal the moniker of the upcoming 11 series smartphone.
Realme teases that the forthcoming device will be the cheapest 5G smartphone under the number series smartphones. The company is expected to officially announce the moniker and other details of the handset in the upcoming days. Realme is also tipped to make it available on Flipkart, just like previous phones in the Realme 11 series.
The company might launch the Chinese variant of the Realme 11 5G smartphone in India with a different moniker. Realme could offer the device with an IPS LCD panel instead of an AMOLED panel similar to the vanilla 11 series to keep the costs low. To recall, the Chinese version of the Realme 11 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz, an instant touch sampling rate of 1000Hz, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
Under the hood, Realme has equipped the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, built on a 7nm process. The chipset has two Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, six Cortex A55 cores at 2GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The smartphone runs Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor. The primary sensor has an f/1.79 aperture and pairs with a secondary 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The device has an 8MP selfie camera placed inside the punch-hole.
Realme has packed the device with a 5000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. The smartphone uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Realme also allows expanding the storage via a micro SD card slot. Realme might price the smartphone under Rs 15,000 to launch the smartphone as the cheapest 5G smartphone in the vanilla number series.
