Xiaomi is expected to soon debut the Redmi Note 13 Turbo (aka the alleged POCO F6 for the global markets) smartphone in China. A tipster on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo has revealed the key specifications of the device. Here are the details.
Redmi Note 13 Turbo: Expected Specifications
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13 is expected to come with an OLED screen with support for 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Chinese smartphone brand is said to source the panels from Tianma and TCL.
The tipster adds that the front of the device will be similar to the Redmi K70e smartphone. The rear of the device will sport a design inspired by the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Note 13 Pro+ smartphones. The Note 13 Turbo will sport a 50MP primary camera at the back. The centred punch hole cutout will house a 20MP selfie camera similar to the flagship Xiaomi smartphones.
A Redmi executive previously shared the design of an upcoming Redmi smartphone, which is believed to be the Note 13 Turbo. The image reveals that the display will sport a centred punch hole cutout and be surrounded by slim bezels. The power button and volume rockers will be present on the right side of the device. The protruding power button hints that Xiaomi will equip the device with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Note 13 Turbo is set to become the second smartphone from Xiaomi to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The device will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging tech. The 90W charging support was previously revealed through the 3C certification secured by the device.
The inclusion of 90W charging support is new for mid-range Redmi smartphones, except for very few devices with above-67W charging support. Another tipster on Weibo hints that the Note 13 Turbo could debut with a starting price of RMB 1,999 (approx. Rs 23,100).
