Redmi 13C 5G India Debut Set for December 6, Amazon Availability Revealed

Xiaomi is all set to launch the a new entry-level smartphone – the Redmi 13C in the Indian market. As announced by the company, the Redmi 13C wil make a debut on December 6 in the country. Ahead of the launch, a Redmi 13C 5G micro-sites have gone live on mi.com and Amazon which reveal that the Redmi 13C 5G will be unveiled on December 6 in India. These micro-sites and promotional banners are now taken down but we managed to download images before the sites went down.

The Redmi 13C 5G India launch will also mark device’s global debut. Recently, Xiaomi had confirmed that the Redmi 13C (4G variant) will also be sold via Amazon in India. Redmi 13C 5G Colour Options MySmartPrice

Redmi 13C 5G promotional banner on e-commerce portal – Amazon showcases the handset in three colour options, one in a shade of green, another one in a shade of black, and the third one in a shade of light purple. All three variants appear to have a glitter dust pattern on the rear panel.

The Redmi 13C 5G promotional banner also reveals that Xiaomi will equip the handset with a dual-rear camera setup. The primary rear shooter on the smartphone will be a 50MP camera which will be supported by an LED flash. The Redmi 13C 5G will feature a flat edge design and will house the SIM card tray along the left edge. Apart from this, the micro-site and the promotional banner do not reveal anything about the upcoming Redmi 13C 5G.

If the rumours are to be believed, the Redmi 13C could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The Dimensity 6100+ is fabricated on a 6nm process and comes with an integrated Mali-G57 GPU. This is the same processor that powers Realme 11 5G and Realme 11X 5G. The handset was earlier spotted on 3C certification website which revealed support for 18W fast charging.

The Redmi 13C 5G might offer a 90Hz LCD display, similar to its LTE-only counterpart. We can hope Xiaomi to equip the 5G variant of the Redmi 13C with a Full HD+ resolution display. We can expect the Redmi 13C 5G to feature a 5000mAh battery unit and offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
