Xiaomi recently unveiled its Redmi Note 9 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. The Redmi Note 9 4G smartphone has already been launched in India with a slightly different moniker – Redmi 9 Power and is reportedly going to be unveiled globally as the Redmi 9T. Today, we have been able to spot the Redmi 9T moniker, as the device has received the NBTC certification. Redmi 9T (M2010J19ST) NBTC

As seen in the NBTC certification image, the Redmi 9T (with the model number M2010J19ST) has recently been certified. The NBTC certification confirms the Redmi 9T moniker. Plus, it reveals that the Redmi 9T will be a 4G handset, something which should not come as a surprise to anyone. Other than what we mentioned, the NBTC certification fails to tell us anything about the upcoming Redmi 9T.

That being said, we already know that the Redmi 9T is supposedly going to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. The device is likely to feature a quadruple rear camera setup – 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP. Moreover, we can expect the Redmi 9T to sport a 6.53-inch display with a waterdrop notch containing the 8MP selfie snapper. Coming to the battery of the device, the Redmi 9T might be fueled with a large 6,000mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast charging. That said, the upcoming smartphone from Redmi might be competing with the likes of Realme and Samsung when it will launch in India. One could expect it to be available under Rs 20,000 price segment.
