Redmi K50 Gaming Edition Specifications

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is rumoured to launch alongside the K50 and K50 Pro. Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the device will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In a separate leak, tipster Panda has listed the device’s display details and other specifications.

The K50 Gaming smartphone is said to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display, which is the same as the predecessor model. It will, however, have curved sides and a Full HD+ resolution. As expected, the phone will have 120Hz refresh rate support. It will also come with a tiny hole-punch cutout at the top for the front camera.

The tiny cutout will have a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup. It is said to have either a 48MP main camera or a 64MP sensor. Alongside, the camera module will include a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro shooter.

The tipster further notes that the phone could feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is said to feature a 4700mAh battery and also come with 120W fast charging support. It is worth noting that the K40 Gaming Edition came with a Dimensity 1200 SoC. Redmi is also said to be working on a smartphone with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.

The K50 Gaming is said to feature a dual VC cooling system and also trigger buttons for an enhanced gaming experience. Other details of the device remain unknown. We will share more information as and when available.
