Redmi has confirmed the launch of its next K-series smartphones in China. The Redmi K-series is the company’s flagship offering. Xiaomi launched the K40 series last year in China. A couple of devices from the series launched in India under the Mi 11X series, whereas the Poco F3 GT was launched as a rebadged Redmi K50 Gaming Edition in India.

Redmi will launch the K50 series next month in China. The company has also confirmed some key specs of its flagship series. Meanwhile, design renders of the K50 Pro smartphone have leaked. Let’s take a look at the Redmi K50 Pro specifications, design and other leaked details.

Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro design renders

Redmi K50 Pro is likely to sit between the vanilla model and the K50 Pro+ variant. The alleged case render leaked today reveals the device’s design. As per the image, the phone has a hole-punch display with the cutout at the top centre. XiaomiUI claims that the phone has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. The phone will support a 120Hz refresh rate and will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

On the back, there is a rectangular camera module. The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back. It will sport a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera, coupled with a 13MP OV13B10 ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP GC02M1 or 8MP OV08A10 macro camera.

Under the hood, the phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is likely to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone has the power and volume keys located on the right edge, whereas the USB Type-C port is at the bottom edge. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the K50 series will feature a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The device is also expected to run Android 12 out of the box with a layer of MIUI 13 on top.
