Xiaomi just unveiled the Redmi 13C and theRedmi 13C 5G smartphones in the Indian market. Towards the end of the launch event, the company revealed that the Redmi 13C series event film was shot on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The brand has also confirmed that it is finally bringing the much awaited Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G to the Indian market in January 2024.
To those unaware, the Redmi Note 13 series was unveiled back in September in the Chinese market. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is the company’s most premium offering in the Note 13 lineup and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will arrive as a successor to the Note 12 Pro+ which brought a 200MP camera to the Note lineup. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The teaser shared by the company reveals that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will unveil in January 2024 in the Indian market. The brand hasn’t revealed if it will launch other Note 13 series handsets alongside the Note 13 Pro+ next month. However, we can expect the brand to launch multiple Note 13 series handsets in the upcoming event.
To those unaware, the Redmi Note 13 5G series consists of three handsets – Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, and Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The brand is also rumoured to launch the Redmi Note 13 (4G variant) and the Redmi Note 13 Pro (4G variant) in global markets. It isn’t clear if the company will launch the LTE models in the Indian market or not. We can expect these handsets to obtain certifications such as Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in the coming days.
