Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a new Galaxy A-series smartphone. The company recently launched the Galaxy A22 5G in India. It is now working on launching a new budget phone under the A-series. The Galaxy A03s support page is live on the company’s India website. Samsung is expected to release the phone soon in India. There is no official word on the device’s launch date at the moment. That being said, we can expect its launch some time during August. The phone has already visited multiple certification websites. The listing does not reveal much about the device other than confirming its model number. The Galaxy A03s comes with the model number SM-A037F/DS. The phone has also visited the TKDN certification website. This also doesn’t reveal much about the device other than the 4G network compatibility.
We know a few things about the device, courtesy of the various certification websites it has visited. The most recent visit was at the FCC website, which confirmed the device’s battery capacity. The Galaxy A03s will pack a 5000 mAh battery. It is likely to come with 15W fast charging support.
The phone was also listed on the Geekbench website with the same model number. It confirmed that the Samsung phone will draw power from a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. The performance unit also features 4GB of RAM under the hood. Samsung could launch another RAM option of the Galaxy A03s as well. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box and will have a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of Android.
Rumours are rife that the phone will sport a 6.5-inch display and have a notch on the top for the 5MP front camera. The phone will come with a triple-camera setup on the back.
