Samsung recently announced the Galaxy A04 as its new entry-level smartphone. The company launched the phone with an Exynos 850 SoC along with a 50MP dual-camera setup. It looks like the Galaxy A-series could get another update with the launch of the Galaxy A04 Core. Samsung has not confirmed the official launch date. While we wait for that, the Samsung Galaxy A04 Core has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website.

Samsung Galaxy A04 Core, Galaxy M04 BIS

The Samsung Galaxy M04 will be an entry-level smartphone in the M-series launching soon. Samsung is also likely to launch the Galaxy A04 Core in the coming days. Both phones have been spotted on the BIS website. The Galaxy A04 Core has the model number SM-A042F/DS. The Galaxy M04, on the other hand, has the model number SM-M045F/DS.

Both devices are expected to launch very soon in India. Samsung has not confirmed the official launch date. The listing on BIS also does not reveal any details about the device.

Some details of the Galaxy M04 are known, courtesy of a Geekbench listing. It revealed that the phone packs a MediaTek Helio G35 processor and runs Android 12 out of the box. It will also pack 3GB of RAM under the hood.

The Galaxy A04 Core shares the same performance unit, according to a Geekbench listing. The device’s design renders have also leaked in the past. It revealed that the Galaxy A04 Core has a single camera setup on the back with an LED flash. The screen at the front has a water-drop notch for the front camera. The display size and the camera specs remain unknown at the moment. Assuming the launch is imminent, we can expect the specifications and features to be available soon.
