Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy A04 smartphone back in August last year. The Galaxy A04 features a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display, a 50MP dual-camera setup, a 5MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Now, after introducing the Galaxy A04, the South-Korean smartphone maker Samsung seems to be gearing up for the Samsung Galaxy A05 smartphone. The reason for this is that the Galaxy A05 has recently cleared the Bluetooth SIG certification.
Samsung Galaxy A05 Will Run Android 13 Out Of the Box
The Bluetooth SIG certification reveals the moniker of the device as Samsung Galaxy A05. Additionally, the certification discloses the model number of the handset as SM-A055F/DS. The listing reveals that the device will have Bluetooth v5.3 support. Apart from these details, no other specification of the smartphone is revealed by Bluetooth certification yet. To recall, the same smartphone was also spotted at Wi-Fi Alliance a couple of days back.
The Wi-Fi Alliance listing had confirmed that the device will run Android 13 out of the box. Currently, the other specifications of the device such as its display size, camera configuration, RAM, and chipset information are yet to be revealed. We shall get to learn more details about the handset if it arrives on more certifications or benchmark listings in the coming few days.
Additionally, the launch date of the device is yet to be revealed. Considering that the A04 was announced in August last year, we can expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy A05 next month i.e. August. The Galaxy A05 predecessor, the Galaxy A04 flaunts a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution, standard 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 270 PPI pixel density. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Helio P35 processor which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device runs Android 13 out of the box.
As for the imaging purpose, the Galaxy A05 features a dual-camera setup which consists of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The device relies on a 5MP camera for selfies and video-calling purpose. The Galaxy A04 packs a 5,000mAh battery and has dual 4G VoLTE support. The device is also introduced in India and it is priced at Rs 11,999.
