Samsung introduced the new A-series smartphone, the Galaxy A14 5G at the beginning of this year. The handset is available for purchase in India, the US, and a few other markets. We are also aware that the South-Korean smartphone maker is prepping to introduce the 4G variant of the Galaxy A14 soon in the market. The handset was spotted at the NBTC certification a few days back. Additionally, the renders of the device were leaked online a couple of days back.
Now, in a recent development, the Galaxy A14 4G is spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. The handset also has received the GCF certification. Apart from this, the phone’s support page is made live on Samsung’s India website, which does suggest that the Galaxy A14 4G launch in India is imminent.

As per the BIS certification, the Galaxy A14 4G will have the model number as SM-A145FB/DS. Furthermore, the support page also reveals the model number of the phone as SM-A145F/DS. Apart from the model number, no other specifications of the phone are revealed for now through the BIS and GCF certifications.

If the past leaks are to be considered, the Galaxy A14 4G will reportedly feature a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is rumoured to ship with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor. Furthermore, the handset is expected to come in 4GB/6GB RAM configuration along with 64GB/128GB storage.
For the storage expansion beyond 128GB, the handset also could have a microSD card support. As for the software, the device is expected to run Android 13-based One UI 5.0 out of the box. In terms of imaging, the device could feature a triple-camera setup. The back of the phone might include a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For the selfie purpose, the phone might rely on a 13MP camera which could have a f/2.0 aperture.
The handset is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery which could offer 10 charging support. The phone might also feature a stereo speaker and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for the security purpose. Connectivity-wise, the handset is supposed to offer features like a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset is expected to come in Black, Green, and Silver colour options. As for the pricing, the device might retail for EUR 200 (roughly Rs 17,800)
