Samsung Galaxy A15 4G With Helio G99 SoC, Android 14 Surfaces on Geekbench, Could Launch Soon

We are aware that Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy A14 successor in the form of the Galaxy A15. The renders of the upcoming Galaxy A15 surfaced last month. The leaked renders revealed that the device will feature a flat display, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Now, in a recent development, the Galaxy A15 4G is spotted at Geekbench. The benchmark listing details the hardware specifications of the handset ahead of the official launch.

Samsung Galaxy A15 4G To Pack 4GB of RAM

As per the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A15 4G (SM-A155F) will be powered by an octa-core Helio G99 SoC which will be paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device will pack 4GB of RAM. As for the software, the handset will boot Android 14 out of the box with the company’s One UI skin on top. In the Geekbench test result, the device has managed to pull off 743 and 2005 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

Currently, the launch date of the Galaxy A14 4G is yet to be revealed. We shall get to learn more details about the smartphone if it arrives on a few certifications in the coming few days. As mentioned above, this upcoming smartphone will succeed the Galaxy A14 which debuted earlier this year. The Galaxy A14 comes in 4G and 5G variants. Both models feature a 6.6-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution. These devices also boast a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes.

The Galaxy A14 4G is powered by an octa-core Helio G80 SoC, while the Galaxy A14 5G model comes with Dimensity 700 chipset. The 4G variant features a 50MP triple-camera setup, a 13MP selfie camera, up to 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. It supports up to 15W fast charging. On the other hand, the Galaxy A14 5G has a 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 50MP triple-camera setup, a 13MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Similar to the Galaxy A14 4G, the Galaxy A14 5G offers 15W fast charging support.
