The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has appeared in the Geekbench database, revealing most of the hardware specifications of the phone. This comes only a day after the official renders of the Galaxy phone surfaced online. In the renders, we saw that the Galaxy A22 5G carries a triple-camera setup on the rear and 6.5-inch Infinity-V display on the front. Interestingly, the phone also has a 4G variant who recently received the BIS certification and HTML5 test. Now that the Geekbench listing of the Galaxy A22 5G is out, let’s take a look at its specifications.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A22 5G with the model number SM-A226B is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 (MT6833V) SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone scores a of 562 in the single core performance, and bags a score of 1765 in multi-core performance. On the software side, the Samsung Galaxy A22 comes with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box.

Based on earlier leaks, the phone comes with a 6.5-inch Infinity-V display and will carry a plastic panel on the back. In the camera department, the phone is expected to come with a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary camera. Aside from this, the phone will likely come in four color options, including Gray, White, Light Green, and Violet. Also, the Galaxy A22 5G will have two storage options.

The exact launch details of the Galaxy A22 are not known at the moment. However, the phone might be priced at KRW 200,000 (Rs 13,425). From the looks of it, it will also be the cheapest 5G smartphone from Samsung.
