Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Clears NBTC Certification, Appeared on FCC with 25W Fast Charging

Samsung is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G handset in the coming months. The handset has already been spotted on the Geekbench database and 3C certification websites. In a new development, we have now spotted the upcoming A-series handset on the FCC certification website. Alongside, the handset has also made an appearance on NBTC database.

The latest listing also confirms that the handset with model number SM-A536E/DS is indeed the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. Last week, the handset was also spotted on Bluetooth SIG and HTML5Test databases. The appearance on various certification databases certainly hints towards an imminent launch.

The Galaxy A53 visited the NBTC and FCC certification with model number SM-A536E/DS. The FCC listing reveals that the upcoming A-series device will be equipped with 5G support and NFC. The listing also reveals that the device will come with a charging adapter that will have model number EP-TA800. This is a 25W charger, so the company might bundle a 25W fast charging adapter in the box. The handset has a type-C port for charging and data tranfers.

The Galaxy A53 5G renders and design were leaked by OnLeaks a couple of months back. The handset will feature a 6.46-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is expected to offer an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, similar to its predecessor.

The Geekbench listing had confirmed the presence of an octa-core Exynos 1200 processor. The Exynos 1200 brings with it an integrated Mali G68 GPU. The device will be equipped with a 4,860mAh battery as revealed in TENAA listing.

On the optics front, the device will offer a quad-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The camera module will reside on the top left corner of the back panel and is reminiscent of the Galaxy A52 series devices. The primary sensor on the device will be a 64MP shooter. For selfies, the handset might offer a 12MP shooter.
