Samsung Galaxy A53 with Exynos 1200 SoC, 6GB RAM Appears on Geekbench: Expected Specifications

Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch its upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 handset. The renders and key specifications of the upcoming mid-range smartphone were leaked on the web last month. Now, we have spotted the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G handset with codename SM-A536U on the Geekbench benchmark database. Geekbench benchmark database reveals that the upcoming Galaxy A53 will be equipped with an Exynos processor. Let us take a closer look at the details revealed in the Geekbench benchmark listing.

Samsung Galaxy A53 will boot Android 12!

Samsung SM-A536U has scored 686 points in the single-core test of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, the multi-core score is 1874. The database listing further reveals that the upcoming device will be offered in 6GB of RAM configuration and will boot the latest version of Google’s mobile OS – Android 12. Though, similar to other Galaxy handsets, there will be the company’s proprietary OneUI skin on top.

Going by the Geekbench listing, it appears to be equipped with an octa-core processor with codename s5e8825. Based on the codename, it appears to be the upcoming Exynos 1200. The processor on the device will feature a 6 + 2 core configuration as revealed in Geekbench listing. 6 of the cores will be clocked at 2.0GHz and could be the efficiency cores. Whereas, the remaining two cores will be clocked at 2.40GHz and could be the performance cores. The Geekbench listing also reveals the presence of the Mali G68 GPU.

The upcoming Galaxy A53 5G renders were leaked on the web last month. The leaked renders revealed that the upcoming A-series handset will borrow the design language from its predecessor – Samsung Galaxy A52.

The upcoming Galaxy A53 5G will sport a bezel-less design with a punch-hole display. The panel on the upcoming A53 will be an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. We can expect it to be a Full HD resolution display and expect it to offer an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset will offer a quad-rear camera setup and an LED flash inside a rectangular camera module. Last week, a report had revealed that the mass production of the handset has already begun at the Noida factory, so we can expect it to launch soon in the country.
