Samsung‘s upcoming upper mid-range handset – the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G made its first appearance on the web back in December. The Galaxy A73 is said to be the first A-series device with a 108MP rear camera setup. The handset was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database just yesterday. Now, we have spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A73 smartphone with model number SM-A736B_DS on the Bluetooth SIG database.

The appearance on Bluetooth SIG certification hints towards an imminent launch. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Samsung Galaxy A73

The Bluetooth SIG listing confirms the moniker of the upcoming Samsung A-series device. Two variants of the Galaxy A73 5G with model numbers SM-A736B and SM-A736B_DS have cleared Bluetooth SIG certification. The handset will support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Apart from it, the latest listing does not confirm anything in terms of the specifications.

However, the handset has already visited Geekbench benchmark and FCC certification databases. As per the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Galaxy A73 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and an integrated Adreno 642L GPU. The handset will boot Android 12, similar to recently launched Galaxy smartphones.

The FCC listing had confirmed that the Galaxy A73 will support 25W fast charging. No surprises there. However, do not expect Samsung to bundle the charging brick in the box this time around since the brand didn’t bundle one even with the recently launched lower mid-range Galaxy smartphone.

The Galaxy A73 is expected to feature a 5000mAh battery unit. The renders of the device were leaked back in December. As per the leaked renders, the handset will retain the design language from its predecessor and the camera module will also look identical. This means that on the front, there will be a bezel-less display with a centered punch hole notch.
