Samsung Galaxy Book Go With Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 SoC Launching in India Soon; Pre-orders to Begin on March 18 via Flipkart

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, the company’s premium laptop in India soon. The company has already confirmed the machine will be available on Amazon, while we are waiting for the launch date for the same. Now, a Flipkart listing suggests the Samsung Galaxy Book Go will be launched in India soon as well. Along with that, the e-commerce site has also revealed the pre-order date for the same.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go Listed on Flipkart

Ahead of the official launch, the Samsung Galaxy Book Go has been listed on Flipkart. The same laptop was launched globally last year in June. The Samsung Galaxy Book Go will be available for pre-order in India starting March 18, which means we can expect the announcement to happen in the next couple of days. Interestingly, the URL on Flipkart mentions the Galaxy Book2, while the specifications are all of the Galaxy Book Go.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go comes with a 14-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a 180-degree hinge. The laptop is 14.9mm thin and weighs around 1.38kg. For audio, the company is offering support for Dolby Atmos and the Galaxy Book Go offers a 720p webcam for selfies and video calling. The laptop is also certified with US military standard MIL-STD-810G.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor, which is specifically built for laptops by Qualcomm. Globally, the device comes in two configurations 一 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. In terms of battery life, the laptop is rated to last up to 18 hours of video playback on a single charge and it comes with USB Type-C fast charging as well.

Further, the laptop will come with Samsung’s ecosystem features like quick share, easy Bluetooth connection, SmartThings, second screen, and Galaxy Book smart switch. The quick share features allow you to connect and share photos, videos, and files wirelessly to another device. It is also possible to use the Galaxy Tab like the S7 and S8 series as a secondary screen along with Galaxy Book. In terms of port options, the Galaxy Book Go comes with two USB Type-C ports on either side, one USB 2.0, a micro SD card slot, a mic, and a security slot. In terms of pricing, the Galaxy Book Go starts at USD 349 in the US, which is roughly around Rs 26,700.

Also, on a related note, popular tipster, Ishan Agarwal has said that Samsung is also gearing up to launch The Freestyle 180-degree projector in India, which was also announced recently. This projector is capable of projecting up to 100-inch in Full HD resolution and it comes with a 5W speaker. It will also come with support for Hotstar, YouTube, and Netflix apps.
