Samsung has recently revealed that it will be launching the Galaxy M31 smartphone on 25th February in the Indian market. The teasers of the smartphone that the brand has been sharing in the last few days reveal a few key features of the handset. Its price, however, has been under the wraps so far.
However, a new report from IANS, citing industry sources, claims that Samsung will price the Galaxy M31 in India at INR 15,999 and that it will go on sale in the first week of March. This price tag will most probably be for the base variant of the device. Speaking of, the report claims that the smartphone will come in two memory configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

If the leaked price is to be believed, the Galaxy M31 will go head to head against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, and the Realme XT. Going by the specs revealed by the brand so far, the Galaxy M31 has pretty impressive hardware. And it has the potential to compete with the other segment-leading smartphones in the country. That being said, specs tell only half the story. The rest depends on real-life performance.

Anyway, the teasers from Samsung revealed that the Galaxy M31 will have a 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear with Scene Optimizer, Macro mode, and Night mode, a 6000mAh battery, and a Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity U notch. Apart from its official website, Samsung has been teasing the Galaxy M31 on Amazon India as well, which confirms that the device will sell through the e-commerce website.
