Update: We have made changes to the story. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series model number that we have spotted could likely belong to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, as it has already appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. The S-Pen, on the other hand, appears to belong to the vanilla Samsung Galaxy Note 20.

Samsung is reportedly in the works to launch its Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series of smartphones on August 5, 2020 alongside its Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. So far, we have received plenty of intel surrounding all three devices in the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 lineup – the vanilla Samsung Galaxy Note 20, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Today, we have been able to spot the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone on the FCC certification authority website, which double checks some of its key specifications. Furthermore, the Stylus Pen that will come bundled with the Samsung Galaxy S20 and an LED View Cover of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus have also been spotted on the same certification website. Take a look.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series accessories appear on FCC ahead of launch

As seen in the FCC certification images, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (with the model number Samsung SM-N986U) will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor (it could possibly be the currently unannounced Snapdragon 865 Plus processor too) and feature Qualcomm’s X55M modem with 5G capability. Furthermore, the FCC certification also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have support for wireless charging. Other than the things that we mentioned, the FCC certification fails to tell us anything else about the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Nevertheless, the S-Pen that will come with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the LED View Cover for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus has also received FCC certification. As far as the rest of the specifications of the device are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is said to feature a large 6.9-inch display with a resolution of 3,040 x 1,440 pixels. The device will likely come with a quadruple rear camera setup and will have a centrally-aligned single punch-hole selfie camera. The presence of an S-Pen was already obvious, but the FCC certification has reconfirmed the same. Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be a 5G device.
