Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G With Snapdragon 865 May Launch in India Next Week, Tipped To be Priced Under 50k

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S20 FE 4G in India for Rs 49,990. However, the smartphone soon received multiple discounts and is available between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000 in India. The key difference between the Galaxy S20 4G and 5G variants lies in the performance unit.

The Galaxy S20 FE 5G draws power from a Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood. The international variant of the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Samsung is expected to launch the device in India with 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options.

It comes with the same 6.5-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display found on the 4G model. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with a hole-punch cutout for the front camera.

Under the hood, the phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. Alongside, it also supports Qi wireless fast charging and Wireless PowerShare feature. The device has a triple-camera setup on the back with a 12MP primary lens with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The camera setup also includes an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front camera sensor.
